Panasonic nr bw465xs rm2200 vs samsung rt59fsbl rm2099. Samsung slightly bigger with digital inverter while pana inverter with econavi and 7steps led digital temperature control. Which one better?

Better avoid Samsung fridge, lot of prob althoght look nice & value of money with the features. I would said for fridge should look for something more reliable. Panasonic will be better choice.

Indeed a good buy.
Why waste $$ on extra warranty? I had bad experince with SenQ for it.  vmad.gif

Extra warranty is needed especially refrigerator as the current quality is bad. And simple repair will cost you a bomb, at least RM200++ so it is a wise choice to get the extra warranty.

The idea is good, but will seller honour the warranty? That is another story.
*
That's why choose the warranty that suit you and read through the T&C. Tell them if they not gonna fix it then it will be report to the consumer association and will be reported in newspaper and Internet media. SenQ is large chain store in Malaysia. I am sure this can be fixed and only some of the shop/branch owner that not responsible. You may try to contact their HQ as well.

I did have some friend have good service from the extended warranty and this save them lot of $$$$. Well, it is still subject if you trust it or not smile.gif

Just got back from Supreme Home Appliance shop in Metro Prima and planning to buy the SAMSUNG RT59FBSL inverter fridge (590 ltr gross) which comes with 10 years warranty on compressor at RM1999.

Anyone who has or currently owned a Samsung inverter fridge please share your experience before I buy it. Seems like the best buy compared to others with similar features. Most inverter fridge claims savings of 30% over normal ones... which is excellent in the long run, wonder how much it translate in RM?

Thanks all.

10 years warranty, how good is the service? Also most of the time the issue is the sensor and other part which might give you problem. My brother was using Samsung and change to Hitachi after 1.5 years as always 3 time break down. Few of my friend also having same issue with Samsung. Sometimes they might took back the fridge and there is no spare unit for you. You have to bear the inconvenient of no fridge for about a week. I will opt for reliable fridge instead of outlook and money saving.

How about electrical consumption? Is this inverter type?

Just window shop this model last weekend.
*
I am using this model as well for 9 months ++. This is not inverter and electric consumption wont be high I guess as my month bill is less than RM100.
