First time buying a refrigerator, any brands are popular now?
Can you name one or two brands?

Is this refrigerator good? Electricity consumption large or not?
Hitachi Refrigerator R-Z560EM ![]() It seem like this fridge fit my budget of around RM2200. What you think about this fridge? Thanks in advance. This post has been edited by lovejerk: Jan 6 2014, 01:20 AM |

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Jan 6 2014, 08:13 AM) mine is a bit lucky. also place to the wall and fit right to kitchen cabinet just nice. Door also open 90 degree but my Toshiba fridge -drawer (underneath) can take out 45 degree. So just nice and perfect. QUOTE(feyfei @ Jan 6 2014, 10:30 AM) when i change to a different model, i tested only Toshiba and Samsung tray and drawer can be pull out easily with 90 degree or lesser due to their design. Actually is not a real big problem, but you will have tough time cleaning the fridge is the tray and drawer get stucked inside I found this fridge seem like ideal for those who need to put it near to wall. Got separate drawers.I ended up with a slim sleek Samsung compared to Hitachi which I paid earlier Hitachi R-SG37BPM ![]() This post has been edited by lovejerk: Jan 6 2014, 11:45 AM |

QUOTE(IceBikers @ Jan 6 2014, 12:10 PM) bought it at rm1850. cooling ok. just the motor sound a bit louder but as time flies and as the fridge is filled up, u'll get used to it. my opinion, i shud say the sound isn't from the motor mechanical, it is the vibration(when motor run) that causes the sound. QUOTE(sovietmah @ Jan 6 2014, 01:46 PM) Hi IceBikers and sovietmah,Thanks for the feedbacks. It seem like the noise is not a big issue. I found that the door of hitachi fridge is not that tight compare to other brands, this should be ok right? Other brand like LG or Panasonic need to pull strongly in order to open the door, but hitachi only need to pull gently. Will a tight door preserve the cold temperature better? Recently, i go to my friend's house to look at his new Hitachi R-Z610EM fridge. I saw that this model have no lamp inside the freezer, my friend say nowadays all new fridges have no lamp inside the freezer already, is this true?
Feel very uncomfortable when searching for things stored inside the freezer with no lamp. |
