Anyone has any opinion about Bosch fridges? Looking at their side by side model.

Yeah "for life" is a very indefinite concept. If can get 10 years out of a fridge is not bad already.

can i ask you guys what is your freezer temperature? my hitachi default setting is -19ºC but i see all my frozen food requires them to be store at -18ºC

According to the FDA it should be -18C. Source: http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUp...s/ucm093704.htm

You can set colder if you want, but just end up with higher elec consumption and bill smile.gif

Any suggestions for 4-door, 6 adults usage refrigerator? Budget no limit as long as it lasts, like 20 years x 365 days = already worth the amount paid.

Requirement : Energy saving

I'm doubtful if the fridges produced nowadays can last 20 years or not.

That said, my Ariston fridge bought in 1997 is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. smile.gif
