@zio, wanna ask u sumthing. Since u did check out the xbox thread, what do u think on the guy that was commenting on otehr people's skill? Looked to me like bem and the other don't fully understand what he wants from others.

He came off rude at the start, then he mellowed down. I think there are some major confusion in the thread. Apa boleh buat? The guy made the first mistake to comment on other people's list of great players, which he shouldn't have done. From then on, it was always going to seem like he made the thread for ego sake, even if his intention isn't so.

@phoenix, at the thread, a guy was asking if anyone saw one of the best players around. Then he commented that the guys that are good, he finds them not so.

@Zio, maybe so. I think what he wants to mean is by letting out his 2 cents. Everyone's entitled to that. But from there on, people felt it was wrong. I think its ok for him to think that even breakthru isn't good, because its just how he puts his standards. Pity the guy on the after posts though.

Actually i think it was wrong for him to do so. Greatness or how good a player is - is after all subjective. It will always come out as arrogant if you say someone is not as good or great. I would say, cari gaduh lah. Somemore, it is not like we are talking about reviewing "pro" players who are open to criticism from outsiders as it is their job. We are talking about our peers.

Agree on the subjectivity. And guess i overlooked the peer factor and mixed it up on the criticism part. All my life playing at the arcades when duking out on KOF 98, I sumhow set certain standards.

I only give out my best when i see someone worth challenging. Or else, it'd be normal playing utilizing basic skills. But i don't disrespect the player since i actually go all out at first. What i dun like to see tho is how when a guy loses, he throws a tantrum or shows a rude sign. I'd rather smile and enjoy the fight.

I kinda miss playing side by side against the opponent. Currently all arcade machine has 2 screens and you can't see your opponent.

BTW I'm usually on the losing side, the only fighting game where my win ratio is high are the Tekken Series (1-3 only), stopped playing after TTT.
