i know the solution, play original games, hahah! sorry but it's obvious to me that thanks to piracy, you are jumping from one game to another without actually "playing" any of them. it's really sad but hey, some want to get the most out of their console, some want to get the most out of their games, the choice is theirs.

but judging from ur taste, it's obvious that Wii is not the right console for you. i'm not saying u should get rid of it yet but since u are not open to the idea of owning more than one console, there is not much options left really. 

it takes extra resources to make a "wii version" of a game, as opposed to say, a PC/PS3/XBOX360 port because it's usually all so similar, technically-wise.

but that's also the beauty of it, the Wii will have exclusive third party games and that's the reason i'm bought a Wii.
i loved third party exclusives.....simply because i'm a fanboy. 

According to the article I read in Game Informer, Nintendo doesn't have a concept approval stage, so bucketload of crap gets push through.

This could be Nintendo's way of building up a software library because the average Wii consumer could be just anybody on the street and to them, seeing variety is very enticing. Its like walking into a library full of books (even though some are crap) and walking into a library with very few books (although full of quality). You feel better with the library that has more books.

So, at the way things are going, maybe Nintendo will hope that companies that produces crap games will essentially lingkup and then you are left with only the quality developers.

Whatever happen to nintendo seal of quality btw

i think Nintendo strategy have always been to raise the bar on their console with their outstanding first party games and hopefully the third party will get their act together and follow suit. sadly, not many are actually up to the challenge.....

but it's a pretty successful formula, even Sony are emulating it with their 1st party on the PS3.....

Agree on the subjectivity. And guess i overlooked the peer factor and mixed it up on the criticism part. All my life playing at the arcades when duking out on KOF 98, I sumhow set certain standards.

I only give out my best when i see someone worth challenging. Or else, it'd be normal playing utilizing basic skills. But i don't disrespect the player since i actually go all out at first. What i dun like to see tho is how when a guy loses, he throws a tantrum or shows a rude sign. I'd rather smile and enjoy the fight.
