Hi, I'm very interested in your T-am complete build up set. But I'm a total newbie and don't know much about electronics!

From your picture, I saw that the SMPS has a metal mesh as cover. But the holes on the mesh are quite big, it seems dust can get into it quite easily! Can U use metal mesh with smaller holes?

Pls don't mind if I sound a bit silly 'cause I'm so used to those mini hi fi set. Thanks!

The holes are obviously for ventilation and cooling. Why worry about dust when it doesn't affect the operations? With smaller holes, it doesn't guarantee there wont be any dust settling, and come on, dusts are really really small for heaven sake.
At any rate, you're going to house the SMPS and the T-Amp in a proper casing.

matt,
you can use it in your car but with the road/wind noises I doubt if it's powerful enough for your listening pleasure.. but I may be wrong... tongue.gif
