urgh im getting the same error as u. tried to redo it again but cannot.... any1 can help?

im using 1,1_2.0_5A347 for my 2g Iphone(1.1.4 firmware), itune 7.7.0.43 and winpwn 2.0.0.3 RC1 . ive manage to create the Custom-iPhone1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore file in the pwnage directory, pwned the itunes and when i use the restore from itune, it gaves that 1604 error on xp. now im trying this on vista and i follow all the steps again, this time it gives me this 'unknown error (9)' instead. pls advice

my iphone now only show the itune logo with cable each time i turn it on, how to set tat auto lock now? do i have to restore to 1.1.4 again?

yes im quite sure its on the state of DFU (blank screen) and then the itunes will ask me to restore the firmware. This is what ive done :

i started the iphone on DFU mode
close the itunes
start the winpwn
IPSW Builder, selecting install cydia, youtube activation, activate iphone, enable baseband update, neuter bootloader, unlock baseband.
build .ipsw
then iPwner with the custom file
start the itune
restore with the custom file
errors, errors zzz.....

oh ok, ill give this a try now..... thanks alot man

finally after 7 hours of torturing moments i managed to upgrade the firmware2.0 . i think it was something wrong with my windowxp and vista, so i decided to reinstall windowxp in my other hd. do all the required steps and voila 2.0 . thanks all


A new problem im facing with the new 2.0, it seems all my sms will not able to show the sender's name properly due to the 601x in front and my phonebook numbers are only 01x? any1 can help me?
