During the Games Convention the head of Sony Europe (David Reeves) told the news site heise-online (a very big german news site for IT news) that the PSP 3000 will get a bigger battery than 1200 mAh because of the increased power consumtionof the improved display.

Source: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/Erster-Blic.../meldung/114603 personally, i think the battery life issue is ridiculous. i mean, 4-6 hours of game and 4-5 hours of UMD movies?. take out 20 minutes and it will be 3.6-5.6 hours of gameplay and 3.6-4.6 hours of UMD movie. so?.. what about the time in between?. if you play straight for 5 hours then it dies on the spot after 300 minutes, then i think you can make a big deal out of the battery life. heck i cant even squeeze 4 hours of gameplay out of my psp. psp-1000 phase out di./ thy are going to phase and stop production for psp-2000 too..
the psp-3000 does not only hv the anti-glare thingy.. the LCD is jus showing much more vivid colors.. the contrast everytin looks good on it.. the only extra feature i luv.. is the mic.. sigh.. i hvnt used skype on my psp bfr.. its an added bonus. |

If the price is around 700-750, i will upgrade from 2000 to 3000, cause i'm picky when it comes to colour, screen refresh rate, haha...

Bear in mind guys, the fact that these comparisons are only still images, they need to show a video comparing the two models to convince me.
I don't think the PSP2000's screen looks as bad as they make it out to be. I've seen how these anti-glare blah blah blah screen works and yes there is a difference.
PSP3000 is definitely superior to the PSP2000 when it comes to display capabilities. The only question left for fellow m'sians is that will it be hackable. |
