we shouldnt get all hoo haa about this if we already own one. its intended for those who havent got one. also, i dont think this is the last of the psp, theyre still making a better one. this is just patching up the psp 2000's features.

I dont think this psp-300 worth buying cauze got not much new function compare to the time when Sony release the psp-2000.

If it's worth buying, then buy it.
if not, wait for psp-4000

Sure i don't know what the marketing people in Sony are thinking by releasing a newer model with only so few improvements. While it might not create incentives for us PSP owners, it can create some impact in the market to attract new customers.

But when the time comes and people start throwing PSP-2000, it might be your good chance to grab yourself a new set one at a low price.

just found out something....PSP 3000 battery life will be a little shorter than PSP2000, because of better screen. Shorter by 20-30 mins.

I think this is just a minor facelift for the PSP which it is targeting those who are not a PSP owner yet. I am quite doubt on the better contrast on the upcoming PSP, since the current PSP2k already having decent contrast ratio, almost reaching the limit of TN TFT. My guess is it won't have significant improvement other than the integrated mic, and if the battery life is indeed shorter, than consider it as junk lulz

Hope the price remains as PSP-2000... Then i shall buy it.

as a pspfat and pspslim owner, i will definitely buy this psp3000. why? simply cuz of newer hardware, better gfx.. this new psp as pointed out by ppl here is NOT targeted for already adopters. it is for those would-be adopters.. so what if it only change a bit? no point bashing sony for it.. any improvement is better than no improvement.. about the battery life, haha its still not released yet right?? so who knows really how the final will be..

and about it cant play 'hackd' lol who wouldve suspect u can crack psp slim through a battery??? who said iphone couldnt be jailbreak? give it time, if its popular enough, it will be broken...
