Did any of the main Star Wars media (cartoons included) contradicts the novels or comics from the expanded universe?

It will be hard to do Episode VII with all those expanded universe stories. Fresh start seems the only viable option.

Yeah...I got spoiled about Man Of Steel ending by some /k poster's signature.
Took me 5 reports and a thread at helpdesk to get mod to finally remove it.

Fun fact: Return Of The Jedi RT score is lower than Attack Of The Clones...lol

The movie is alot of fun and full of energy. Love Finn and Rey.

Problem was the story and no sense of continuity from previous movie.
I mean the whole galaxy was celebrating in Eps VI, how in the hell everything goes to shit now?

Ridiculous more like. The only way to redeem or explain her getting op suddenly is by pulling similar twist to KOTOR, but I doubt they'll do that.

Seems like Episode 8 will starts shooting this month as that movie is releasing in May instead of usual December.

Now we have Rogue One to look forward to. Donnie Yen!!

Kylo Ren is pretty unique in which he's not really seduced to Dark Side, but more like he wants to be in the Dark Side scared of being seduced by the Light Side of The Force like Vader.

As for why? Who knows...

If this movie becomes a huge hit in China, imagine the next one that has Donnie Yen in it.

I don't mind friendzone between characters like Furiosa-Max in Fury Road or Eggsy-girls agent in Kingsmen as it's mutual and makes sense in context.
But here it's just another "guy hopelessly pining for the girl".

If you show one of them liking the other, make them a couple...that simple.
This friendzone thing where guy being the loser is pretty tiring trope and tends to drag storyline.

TFA is appealing towards new audience while this one is more towards old fans.I don't mind the first half too much, I love how it presents the old stuff in the new way. And all those tracking shots overlooking the planets, mountains, city and spacecraft is such a joy to see.

The only complaints I have about this movie is how all the setup took abit too long and the lack of any emotional connection towards the crew --- I felt nothing towards them in the end .
Though unlike TFA, RO ending retroactively made the whole movie alot better for me.
