Longtime SW fan since 1980s.
TLJ is a massive let down for me.

Pros

+ Many scenes are beautifully shot
+ Technically well made - visuals, sounds, editing
+ Happy to see favorite SW characters on screen

Cons (for me personally)

+ Too many plotholes (Google or Youtube has plenty)
[B]+ Emphasis on female empowerment too overdone[/B]
+ Social justice issues too on the nose (slavery, rich is bad, animal abuse, diversity)
+ Leia flying through space and got back without sucking everyone out
+ LUKE - drinking yucky milk, being old and grumpy, pessimistic, and finally faking out his final fight via astral projection... not my Luke for sure

I love the original trilogy and even the prequels had their good moments. This one truly trashes everything I hold dear about SW.

I do understand the need to change and also appeal to the newer generation. And honestly, I think Rian Johnson is a nice guy from his interviews and the way he speaks. I pity him, surely he is getting many flak for this.

Hope Ep9 will somehow redeem this and make me believe again.

Even Star Wars also led by female now.

They making the male characters like idiot while the female character very heroic and brave.

Examples :
Idiotic male characters
-Raging and nonsense angry Kylo Ren very tricky blaming Rey killing Snokes
-Poe rebellious towards his superior
-Finn so scary wanted to runaway from the rebel ship
-Luke lagi kesian, hiding far far away and dun want to join rebel, and there is no more force sense on him.

Brave heroic females
-Rey as nthe new Jedi and universe's last hope
-Captain Phasma as the leader of Storm Troopers
-General Hordo who replaced Leia died sacrificing herself to divert the empire attention
-SJW  Asian Rose willing to die saving Finn from making a foolish act.
-Rose's sister bravely easing the bomb on top of the empire's fleet ship at the beginning act.
