i think u better go for pioneer..i had alpine 9856 right now..the radio quality suxx..plus pioneer has usb summore..

i think for low end model, it doesn't matter much which brand..almost all have same function and spec

ur budget is most inportant to choose a HU here.. and need to see the specs.. if u got a high budget.. go for 9855 or 9887 as athlonxp has said. confirm no regret.. i think 9855 u can only get 2nd hand unit now.. its a old but great HU till today..

- Functions & Assy - Pioneer
- CD Sound Quality - Alpine

Alpine performs nice for both SPL and SQ lo..

Nakamichi also not bad..
