You will become a noobie in WOW. Streamyx.. maybe sometimes will get dc. Should not be a threat for playing WOW.

try some of the oceanic servers like Nagrand, Amanthul or even Cael .. thaurissan .. and you have to pick which server pvp or pve. If pvp, you might find it frustrating getting ganked by higher levels of opposite faction while trying to level and learning how to play your character. Well its up to you to do some research. About the price, i dont know much about malaysian market. I downloaded mine both straight from blizz. save the money buying them and download wont take u long anyway..

starting area's do not tend to lag as much as higher lvl areas and you can still have fun coz by the time u reach level 70 (assuming you are taking your time) then you will have about 1-2 months game time till wotlk comes out

Anything negatives sounds a lot harder than it looks. That's the Malaysian way sadly - we complain too much.

if arena pvp is what you wanted, hi-latency is a nightmare.
if you just wanna pve. WOW is still playable, just don't join progression raid.

Even if you have latency, it dosnt mean u cant pvp..... i know two players in my guild who play with 500ms, they still got 2k+ rating in s3. Maybe it will be hard to be number 1, but u certainly can be good in pvp even with the latency
Pve wise, there are quite a number of oceanic guilds in sunwell, latency is an issue sometimes, but the dungeons are still doable

Getting Started

|
I say this to anyone who starts the game, DON'T PLAY IT, IT SUCKS YOUR SOUL. But if you do plan to play despite the warning, then don't play a paladin unless you want a ridiculous challenge for PVP.
