@samlee rm350 is only cos of ultra-top-range steak. normal trip to prime, under rm200 also can eat full for 2 ppl - and even then it's not lousy meat, it's black angus/usda prime. if you're not very very big eater, go for 1x appetizer, 1x steak and 1x side, plus the free bread it's enough for 2. recommendations are crab cakes, aussie black angus rib-eye (grain fed), and the truffle mash potato. Make sure don't fall into the "still or sparkling water" trap biggrin.gif

@putra wahaha still worth it mah. made reservation for this saturday at prime, two of us eat ... warm water, 1x sotong and 1x pizza, $70, don't use card and get $150 voucher for B4,
*
i see i see...but since i rarely go down KL, 1 kali go down surely must hentam big big...wahhaha

thanks for the recommendations, read your blog too....drooling....lol

Prime? Only Westin are having that kind of promotion. Maybe Prego?

Bold : LOL...Some people cannot drink "ice water". They need Aqua Panna or San Pelegrino liao.
*

Server asked me "sparkling or still water?" ... stupidly said "still" and so I got a 1-litre bottle of what was basically mineral water. $24 before SP 20% discount =\ ... I saw your last bill had no drinks, you ate without drinking?
*
oohh now i know the trap came from this post...whaha

those in penang should try Chin's Stylish Chinese restaurant at QE2 there

it's rare to find fine dining place that serve chinese food. Their set's are price at quite reasonable price, ranging from RM68++ per person to RM200++ per person.

environment is great, and food is good too.

PS: putra, not sure if you mind but you can try when you are in penang, it's not halal (since they serve wines and liquor) but are pork free though.

err i`m stayin around klang.. Maybe we cant make it exactly on the 14th coz maybe i got work to do and she got classes to attend.. usually we need to make reservation how many days in advance? and wat about ordering roses?
*
haha...if can't make on 14th is the best. Usually these days, the restaurant will be over crowded, service bad, food also set nia

anyway, if not on 14th, then i don't think you really need to make reservation too early la, maybe 1 or 2 day before it is ok

if on 14th, i guess you should reserve this or next week, it's better.

for roses, you can try arrange with the restaurants and see can they provide you or not.

can anyone recomend me a nice hotel for buffet dinner around selangor/pj  for a nice romantic dinner? also, the prices per pax for buffet dinner. prefer under rm 100 per pax
*
prego's (westin KL) bubbly brunch is great! yes, although it's name is brunch, and on normal days it's only have on sunday, but sometimes on special occasions like christmas they do serve it for dinner

price wise is RM198++ (without wine/champange), over ur budget but if u manage to get the starwood card, after 50% discount (2 person) its became RM200 per couple

If you mean Favola at Meridien, I went there about a month back. Food was nothing to shout about to be honest, Villa Danielli has much better food.
*
went there 2 days back....hmm..agree, nothing to shout about. service is a tad slower too than most other starwood restaurant
