Check the jailbreaking thread pinned. Currently the patch on cydia does not work, neither does the manual approach.

I've gone from the +6 prefix to without +6 coz after upgrading to 2.1, i noticed that the call failure is lower when I dial without the +6. In my case the call failure is getting a "the number you dialed does not exist" message.

I'm using maxis btw, so tempted to move to celcom where apparently this problem is not as severe.

For the jailbroken, CallerID Fix for 2.2 Firmwares is out on Cydia. Released on Nov30th. Enjoy!

downloaded but seems like still not working well.... I'm JB FW2.2, when calling in, or msg coming in name showed but when check back the recent call list or the text message, is still +6016******

All that's missing now on 2.2 is the format fix. A less-significant, purely aesthetic fix, but nonetheless I've always liked my numbers display in the US format, eg. (012) 345-6789. Numbers are no longer formatted on 2.2 with the current 'Default.phoneformat' fix.
