google load slow like siao!!msn cannot sign in!!

Surfing is slow but torrents are running pretty good. The total opposite. To restart or no, that is the question.

Anyone have Jeremy Kung background details? Hope he can make TM more better in terms of service and network infrastructure or just make money to the board?

Ya..torrents running fine but other things(msn, web pages etc) not...just weird...

What the hell TMNUT. MSN just now cannot connect, Google loads damn slow, Gmail cannot open. Damn it, call me to do what now.

msn cant connect and unable to login to hotmail and my on9 game is lagging then i will reset ip then everything goes fine.

I reset my IP dunno how many hundred time.. still unable to login msn and youtube.. any1 can lend me a knife..

Ya, after I reconnect and got 60.48.* IP, it's fine now. Before this, I kept getting 60.50.* IPs. Darn...

Probably your torrent is eating up your bandwidth

My speed is great most ip give the same speed full speed ahead 1.5 Mbit :-)

1. I use no torrent, no P2P.
2. My genuine-licensed Windows is always up-to-date with all the necessary update patches being progressively installed at any given time. Firewall on by default.
3. My antivirus too is always up-to-date with frequent updates and is set to scan in background non-stop. Also I keep abreast with all the current antivirus fixtools.

With the above three, there should be NO way any malware/spyware/torrent download or whatever continuously-bandwidth-intensive factor would slow down my streamyx connection.

Also, for most of the day my pc is the only one being connected to the Internet through our fixed phone line i.e. whenever my siblings go out with their laptop. Still, can't even open such usually-simple-to-load websites (even during the busiest hours) like those of Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, and the likes, lately. If that's not enough, more websites noticeably take longer than ever before to completely load in the browser.

And, no need to tell me to check my physical connections. Everything is firmly plugged and the telephone's tone is normal, indicating that the copper lines are in a good condition.

Also no need to tell me to check the indicator lamps on my modem. More often than not the ADSL indicator is showing an OK and for every occurence of prolonged slowdown, I restart the modem as advised.

I believe many other users have similar usage conditions yet same problems like mine.

Would you still try to find faults on OUR side to put the blame on? Worse still, (if you're from TMnet like what your nickname may imply) simply to avoid addressing weaknesses on the ISP's side?

I think you are of a lucky minority from some areas with newly-upgraded capacities at the exchanges. You are welcome to correct me if I'm wrong.

Now Im still experiencing slow webpages to most international sites. Only LYN can load fast...The rest can't even load at all...Whats going on? Another damaged cable??

Btw, Im in serdang location.

Wah then i'm not the only 1 who hav hard time connect those msn, hotmail, gmail... but weird is i played a few online game no problem 1... feel like wanna spam the customer service again!
