Anyway, mine is:
M16 and AK-47

I love other weapons too but my loyalty to these 2 weapons is unbreakable.

m16 and ak why?

M16: it's like a semi-sniper at long range, pump shotty at short range. It's 3 round burst + Stopping power guarantees a kill.

AK-47: well balanced weapon. An all rounder.

End of the day, this thread become a rubbish offset from COD4 main thread. Mods are really slacking badly these days.

if i were u i'll change the Steady with Deep works better cuz the m14 and g3 has low penetration powa unlike the m16 has better penetration powa.

i think u'll notice that the m16 and m14 with rds is nto that accurate as the iron sight ^^

if u were to place g3 with silencer i wud recommend u change it to rds cuz it's better at far range. silenced g3 deals less dmg on far targets.
p.s nowadays ppl on narakka and frag play jugger so u need all the dmg u can blow out LOL. even with m16 ( burst fire ) will need 2 hits ( full dmg from 6 bullet ) to kill. so ghey!

Huh? I thought that the heavier M14/G3's 7.62x51mm NATO caliber has high penetration power than the lighter M16/M4/G36c's 5.56x45mm cartridge?

Btw, I hip fire alot with M14...

It's not hard to use. You just need to get use to it.

I've read lamely's previous post about after he/she (lol, i dunno the gender ) use semi auto for a long time and switch to full auto, things tend to feel easier.... so true...

p.s when i say G3 i meant both guns G3 and G36C. both has less dmg if equipped with a silencer. tried those. but close range kinda deadly but i wonder y far range less dmg as semi auto guns tend to give more dmg on far range ...

if u wanna change G36C u can swap with m4 carbine or ak or u can swap with smg like ak47u or uzi or mp5

At close range, d damage with silencer is equivalent to not using anything at all. But then again, no muzzle flash means you can aim much easier and more accurately. mmm hopeully got d facts rite lol

M16 is one of ma rusher class. One burst one kill

Well, I went to Google for "call of duty 4 weapon chart" and all the sites got it's sources from DenKirson's blog. According to his review, only the AK's damage is affected by silencer at range (40-20). Other weapons deals the same damage at long range regardless whether one have slammed silencer onto it or not.

1. Mp5 ( with suppressor ) + Bandolier + uav jammer + extreme conditioning. Longest knife streak was 16

2. m40A3 with ACOG + bandolier + stopping power + steady aim

3. Both shotguns + red dot + 3x frag + sonic boom + marty=101 kill b****es

4. RPD + grip + stopping power + deep impact=damn imba

5. M16 + red dot + stopping power + extreme conditioning




And to Luffywacko, G36c is a very powerful and steady gun. Better than M4 I think.. Use it with steady aim, stopping power and red dot=profit? Damn sad they didn't include AR15 and RPK-74 in COD4..

Apparently, G36c is outclassed by other (better) guns like M16 and AK-47. That gun deals about the same damage as M4. As you can see, I prefer high damage weapons like M16 (40-30), AK-47 (40-30) and M14 (50-40). G36c only deals about 30-20 dmg.... totally not my kind of gun.

Off topic:
Er... AR15 IS in the game.... if you read up some firearms history. Eugene Stoner, an engineer at the ArmaLite corporation, initially designed the AR10 (stands for ArmaLite Rifle 10) to replace the M1 Garand as the standard issue battle rifle for the US military. But then the US military prefer it's competition, the M14 to be the M1's replacement. So Stoner began designing a newer rifle based on the AR10 and rechambered the rifle to fire the new (at that time) 5.56x45mm cartridge. This new assault rifle (battle rifle uses full powered cartridge assault rifle uses intermediate cartridge) was eventually adopted by the USAF as the M16.

So long story short, AR15 = M16

See this. Basically M16 is one of AR-15 family. The AR-15 was adopted to many versions. The CAR, M16, M4, The GAU but AR-15 IS Ar-15. And CAR too has many versions etc. I hope you understand lol. I think the US army in Iraq right now is using Colt AR-15 A3.

effective in a mid or long range battle..imo the iron sight is quite hard to use.. 3rd perk play xcon as ak +acog is totally useless in a cqc


g36c+silencer replace it with a smg..

mp5+rds or no attachment

best smg in the game.

use it with m9..perks bando,soh and sa

BTW,barrett +sa is really useless.3rd perk just use it with di or xcon


m14 not really a good choice mate..

try play rpd +rds

omfg best support lmg in the game.. it really owns if you know how to use it

I think AK-47 without attachments is still da best.

Reason?
1. silencer and RDS reduce damage at long range
2. ACOG sucks for CQC
3. ACOG makes the gun sway alot
4. The iron sight is good enough to tag ppl at long range.

I know, as I've already mentioned earlier, I find it humorous everytime I hip fire someone to death.

My Barrett class is a joker class. Whenever I'm in a mood to clown around, I'll rush in with a Barrett .50 cal and hip fire ppl all the way .

some guns i cannot see the effect especially on semi auto weapons but it still depends on how fast u click..

Coz it's not balanced . C'mon man, the tube is even banned from tourneys.

M-14 with ACOG fired at 4-5 shots per second.. usually 2-3 will get a definite hit.. majorityly at the head cause it jerks up fast.. if you know how to compensate at split second, its a deadly weapon cause it only takes 2 shots to kill with stopping power. if someone goes up close.. fire 15 rounds in 3 seconds... at least 4-5 will be a sure hit, instant death.
