8.8 cannot oc over 700mhz for core, and cannot tweak bios Vmod. BUt got improve in vantage, i think this is the stablized 8.7beta, last time my 8.7beta vantage score was like 500-600 more than my normal 8.7.

blind flash, when u flash it wrongly, the screen will like distorted or u wont see anything( this i havent get before). U can try to flash blindly, means u memorize the step u use to do DOS flash. For me, i create a boot cd, then i remember the step to flash the card. It works for me, but don try ur luck if u know nothing, and don come find me if anything wrong, becos i am experienced to do that( not for newbie)

load at 43 to 49 refer to furmark load?

hey hey, 4870 died becos of the VRM overheat, 4850 use different type of VRM or we called analog one which generate far less heat than 4870 digital VRM. So they didnt put any shit and u can check the VRM area on the thermal camera is so high in temp.

SApphire toxic edition can go damn high,i dont know how high can gainward go and seems like no one oc their gainward golden sample card.

I DO know GS is already oced. I just wanted to know how high the manage to oc and it is stable so can compare with sapphire.

I repeat, CAT 8.8 DONT let u simply flash ur bios. I've tried:
1. custom bios 720/1000@1.2v FAILED TO BOOT
2. custom bios 625/993@1.2v FAILED TO BOOT
3. custom bios 625/993@stock voltage BOOT
4. stock bios 720/1000@1.2v FAILED TO BOOT
5. stock bios @ stock BOOT
6. stock bios, use ATT clock pass 700 core clock straight blank screen

Conclusion is, they are like giving factory overclocked card a chance to sell by doing this shit. Stick with Cat 8.7 u can oc ur card as u like.
