is it Sapphire 4850 with the Zalman fan right? It's already available at LYP 2 weeks ago at RM750.

Dunno. I'm not into OC GPU, stock fan and card do just fine.

Added on July 28, 2008, 12:17 pmAs long as big enough, then should be okay. I'm using an ICUTE casing with 3HDD also. Just don't put the HDD at the point where the cars is sitting. Anyway, i like to space out my HDD to have better airflow and prevent heat entrapment, so no issues.

I forgot to mention i have to disable my CD-RW coz the IDE cable is getting in the way. No big lost, since i rarely use it and only use the DVDRW anyway.

That GPU cooler is so big...eats up 3 slots?? What's your temp?

What noise? My X-FI is rumbling the ground already...that's the only sound i heard.

And who ask you to set 10 100% wor. I set to about 60%, quite acceptable even when not playing games.

Best Warranty - Gigabyte and ASUS, both 3 years warranty. Personally, i'll recommend Gigabyte.

And yes, the 4850 comes with a DVI->HDMI converter, make sure it's in the box when you purchase.

Anyone playing 4850 with a 22" monitor @ 1650 x 1080 (native resolution)??

Can tahan or not? I'm thinking of buying a 22" LCD this PC Fair, but scare the resolution is too much too handle.

I've tested with my 32" LCD @ 1360 x768, still very smooth though.

btw, i've tested the HDMI sound on the 4850. No problem, sound came out of my LCD TV via HDMI.

It should be provided. Check your packaging manual and see if it's included. If not, kena conned....and please tell us your brand!(so we can stay away from it). If packaging manual says included, you kena con by shop.....very hard to demand it now, should check when buying.

I would suggest 1 4870. Less power and less hassle. Furthermore, not all games support CF. Some games will just run like 1 GPU only. Always better to have 1 single powerful GPU.

Hmmm...i've this problem:

Sapphire 4850
VISTA 32-bit Ultimate
Intel C2D E4500
Benq TW221 Monitor 22" LCD
Sharp Aquos A3253M LCD TV

The problem is whenever i try to run the catalyst driver 8.8, it'll just hang there with the circle spinnng ever since i connect the Sharp Aquos using HDMI connection.

I still can use the Aquos as 2nd display but the can't do anything to the catalyst driver coz it won't work anymore. It was working fine when there is only the Benq LCD hooked to the DVI.

The same system works fine in WinXP though. Anyone has same problem?
