i was reffering to 2 different brands :/...thinking of either getting another normal 4850 or 2x4850gs

as in 2 different brand? coz even the 1 i got..stop production i think..it now comes with zalman fan =_=

gigabyte...lol..thats y ask u so far got any problem? btw ur gigabyte reference card?

4850? now can get around 585+? not so sure..

dx 10.1 if not mistaken on available at vista X64 ...

imo..best for now Gainward? since when distro lurks in forums @KVReninem,which sapphire 4850 r u using?custom fan or stock?@owikh84, i think it's already posted at the first page

well, it should last u quite long ..so far all the games I'm able to play on high settings

@netraid, if not mistaken..most user experiencing blankscreen in XP..need to verify this further ..btw 780G uses 3000 series gpu..nothin to do with ccc 8.8 leh =.="+ this is ati 4000 thread..if bsod, might b due to driver not fully removed from the system btw for those having those blank screen problem, can state the OS used? need to do some research on it

hmm, someone did mention in the gainward thread that after changing to vista, no more blank screen..i wonder is it related to OS or not

i doubt it's the card problem ..gonna test in in Xp soon

really? u said both almost the same mah and it depends on casing also mah :/..but in terms of OCing,gainward is better right

no offence, no card with fans r silents...even zalman fan does have some high pitch sound when it's running full speed

but then, hot cards r 4800 series cannot b passively cooled..thats y usually ppl change to better 3rd party cooler and add slower fan lo

err, 4850 is a freaking hot card...even with a fan blowing to it..during load, i'm sure it will burnt up xD..anyone wanna try that card? lol... well most passive cool gpu, usually manufacturer recommend to put a fan near or on it ..btw that cooler looks like the..aura fridge?
