At the moment i can't confirm will TK40 be available to Asian market as Fenix is catering more to European market. Like the Fenix TK11 R2 edition we just recently obtain limited quantities for Malaysian market after 2 months the product has been released.
Fenix Tk40 price would be USD155. Malaysia pricing would be based on the exchange rate at the time we get the product. TQ |

Hi there,
I jst bid a Fenix LP20 from Lelong 2 days ago, but somehow would like to know what's the difference between a Fenix LP20 and a TK20 in term of lighting? Izzit because of the throw difference whereby TK20 is capable of focusing out to further distance as compared to LP20's flood? And btw, i am planning to get either a Fenix LD10 or a Olight T15 Q5. Any best price for them? Thanks! This post has been edited by ArmorFiend: Mar 10 2009, 04:29 AM |

Hi, the differences between TK20 & LD20 is LD20 light is pure white whereas TK20 is neutral white (yellowish light). TK20 will be able to penetrate fog and also good for night photography as it tend to bring out the true colour, see sample pic in posting.
TK20 will be able to go further due to the reflector head is much larger than LD20. Sorry all our item is the best price already. TQ |

Sorry to say nope it's not suitable. Unless you are using it for seriously close range lighting. It's more of a keychain/ladies type of flashlight.

On my Fenix LD20, i noticed the difference between 94 lumens and turbo mode 180 lumens doesnt really differ much.... So does that means a LD10 120 lumens gonna be brighter than the 94 lumens on LD20..? And will there be huge noticeable difference..?
Coz i find 94 lumens good enough for me on most EDC task...so if 120's gonna be noticeably brighter, then LD10 seems like a a steal.... |

There is lots of difference if it's night time/full darkness. You won't notice much difference if there is reasonable amount of light.
Probably try changing to new set of batteries. Once your battery power drops to 50% your light output will drop also. If 60%-100% your light output will be at 100%. |

I still can't decide which one to buy.
LD20 x2 LD20 + D20 R2 TK40 fyi, i already have L2D Q5 & LD20. Both are great lights.After 1 week+ I sold the LD20 to a friend of mine. LD20 is a good light, going to buy another LD20 / D20 R2 / LD20 R2 ? This post has been edited by ldragon: Mar 23 2009, 11:36 PM |

I see. Still this you have to decide yourself. Perhaps wait for TK40 to come in then if you are around the area you can drop by at the shop to see, from there only decide what you want to get.
In my opinion since you have one L2D perhaps you can go for a pocket size flashlight or perhaps a bigger & powerful flashlight. Just my suggestion. |
