 help!pls help me all pro, e8400 with 9800gx2 need to oc

hi,i had build a pc....but i having problem with my cpu to oc it....my spec is
intel E8400 3.0ghz cpu
mobo:gigabyte p35 ds3
80 gb hdd
3gb ram 667
msi 9800 gx2
os:window vista 32 bit

i had try the 3d mark 06 get 14k score but i saw some people can get more high score.....i dont know how to oc my cpu with this mobo....is that i need to update bios???
or to adjust the clock at bios???my temparature is 39c before oc,so how much can i oc and how to oc???
