I guess motherboard is failing if u need to switch on the laptop several times.

maybe connection between LCD and mobo is problem..the wire problem..
try clean the RAM also

are u use batt or power line while use the laptop? maybe the current can't flow enough to LCD... or short-circuit.....

There's a shop at The Mines IT City that can repair laptops. Not sure if they are still there coz they renovated the place and dunno where the shop go already.
