Think twice before you want to date a Malay girl.

The first question you have to ask yourself before dating one "Will you be willing to convert into Islam if the relationship works out one day and will be planning for a marriage?"

Sad but true, the religion problem will be the biggest issue.

I'm sure someone who loves you very much will not force you to do something you don't want to.

Easier said than done. You cannot predict the future , can you? No one knows how serious will this relationship turn out to be and you always have family factor to consider. Avoid at best unless you're very deeply in love with her.

Usually I see Malay guys going after Chinese girls... Applaud their courage, but sometimes they just look clueless to me when they're trying to woo Chinese girls. All the 'chut chut' sound and the horny jangut looks, POOF... Chance gone. Watching my Malay friends do that makes me laugh sometimes

I find myself interested in a few really good looking Malay girls in my Institute (possibly because there's no pretty Chinese here  ) I have never went out with a Malay girl before (you probably guessed it, but I went out with an Indonesian!!!) I tried giving the usual friendly smile and friendly guy presence in my class and it worked out well (the girls like me, the guys love me) but err... That's it. I dunno how to move on. I'm clueless on whether a Malay girl will fantasize the prospect of going out with a Chinese guy or not.

I tried asking one of my Indian friends today for his opinion on going out with Malay girls. His answer was a straight no. "No no no no. You go out with Malay girls will be veeeeeeery troublesome. I don't like the idea la..."

mah fren, I'll pat ur shoulder if u can brainwashed a sweet baju kurung malay girl to marry u  w/o converting. I know Indonesia has no prob with that (muslim married to christian).
but be logic, not many muslim will be willing to give up their religion even their not a gud muslim. especially living in this society & country.

try to date them and you will know the difference between dating a malay girl and chinese girl.

i must say, from my experience .. i prefer to date malay girls .. what i refer to is decent malay girls and not "minah rock" at least during my time.

although i married a chinese girl, i still miss the feeling of dating a malay girl.

they really know how to respect you, humble, not materialistic and most of all .. easy to start a relationship with mutual respect and understanding and support.

as for chinese girls, i think the quality is less as compare to malay girls ... more lembut
