i did my researcher, read half way tru this thread... im considering of buying one... i got 3 questions,

1- wats best for playing indoors (single floor house with 3 rooms)
2- which has the longest range (how many metres?)
3- best overall gun to buy

juz a quick question.. i have remove the AR... so now its juz a tube...

shud i leave it that way or shud i enclose the tube at the end making it more pressure??

ok guys i will dismantle my longshot again... trying to make it go further with accuracy... will post pics of the parts and equipment... i have the recon and maverick have not touched them yet...

and will also custom paint mine with gun metal black and silver... wootwoot!!

My first mod was ard

But its not constant, sometimes half the distance.... due to removing the AR theres noting to hold the dart in place, so when i push 4ward the reloading handle... it sort of pushes the dart down the tube...

than i mod at the end of the tube to have a mini funnel tat goes in the dart.. but it was too long and the dart stays in the funnel.. and jamming it.

Now my last attempt is to solidify everything and shorten the funnel so it wont go in as much into the dart and wont coz any jamming.. hopefully with increase results... check back for my mod LS tutorial..

I know where they have lots Nerf guns and I know another place that have lots of the limited clear mavericks.... huahahaha....

Anyways this wat i did for my modifications...

I tooke out only wat is required which is the barrel which is attached permanent to a tube tat is use also to load the dart in place. I separate the tube from the spring barrel, there 5 parts the orange front loading tube, the black tube, a black tube holder in the barrel and the orange barrel and lastly the spring in side.

1 - The black tube I attached a smaller tube at the front with a pointy tip so the dart can slide in it slightly making it airtight. (remember measurements is everything here... any longer or shorter you have to remake it!!!)



2 - Attach the modified tube with the black holder, having the black tube slide in tight using duck tape and make sure the tube ends the same depth as the holder and hot glue the surround, thus having only the tube opening and a large one.. compressing the air into the tube.





3 - Putting these black parts in the orange barrel and put the spring back on so tat the black tube with the modified pointy front can be seen out of the barrel, now you can hot glue the front orange tube to the black tube, sliding the black pointy tip in the orange tube. ( I pulled the spring longer giving it more push when its compressed)



4 - Lastly put everything back on... yes there is a lot of small screws, springs and small rods make sure u have them in the right place...

From there I get around double the distance and firepower.... its around 60ft more or less 200% distance.. it will start to loose hang time after 45ft tats ard more than half the actually distance which is gd!! Than if your really into customs.. than you wud like to do this to your guns.... Enjoy!!

yea LS requires body movement and stance... im loving mind... but majority loves the maverick...

BTW my mod & custom paint Long Shot, been using it for 6months now... increase fire power from the usual 30ft now up to 50ft..! bought clips & it has 3 clips now.. 2 of them mod to into one so as to hold 14 ammos! enjoy!
