Got myself a Recon CS6 and a pack of 30 streamlines darts from TRU One U. However no extra clips / magazine mission pack was in sight. No maverick either.

Anyone knows where there are still stocks for extra CS6 magazine clips mission pack in PJ, KL and Subang area (carrefour/TRU?). Also looking for maverick. Eager to get extra reload magazine clips.

Do TRU Tropicana still have extra magazine packs? Maybe KLCC, etc.

TQ.

btw. There's still lots of recon and both blue and yellow longshot in TRU One U. Both longshot at RM149.90. Lots of streamlines darts.

Called up TRU in KLCC, MV, SJ and Tropicana. Some have maverick but no N-Strike Mission Standard Clip packs. The single clip in Recon just not enuf, really need at least 1 more.

Hope someone can find one place where there are still stocks for extra clip packs for recon and longshot.

...f***. I went to Toys R Us (instead of Parkson) and was about to flame this thread because didn't find the Firefly.

I'll go again next week la...

Toys R US Tropicana City has lots of Firefly.

As a matter of fact, they seems pretty stock with almost everything.....except for the extra clips packs. cry.gif

Spoke with the friendly store manager. He mentioned TRS Tropicana stocked the most NERF products among all Toys R US in Malaysia. I do noticed the moment I entered this branch, the NERF racks with huge NERF advertisement seems to be main attraction of this store. He even borrowed a few sonic darts from his office for me to test out some blasters on a small wall section with NERF target board. Mentioned lots of adults buying NERF blasters for themselves. So not embarrassed carrying any larger blasters around there.

Mentioned if need any NERF products, just leave ur numbers with him, he will try to order (if habis liao) for more. Asked me to leave HP numbers as he will order more clips (had 15 packs previously, wiped out very fast).

Currently has loads of Vulcan, Blue/Yellow Longshot, Recon, Nite-Finders, Maverick, Firefly, Tech Targets, Single player and 2-players Strikefire, and 2-players Hyperfire. Lots of streamline, tagger, sonic, vulcan and micro darts.

The strikefire are good for kids coz they comes with Vision Gear eyewear (got 1 set for my nephews earlier). Other places, I missed the hyperfire or else I would have exchange the single shot strikefire for the larger and multifire hyperfire for the kids (hyperfire also suitable for adults).

Damn, maybe I try to go to Tropicana Mall TRU tomorrow hehe. I've been wanting to buy the Strikefire Dart Tag shield thingy as a 'grenade launcher'-look-a-like attachment to my brown recon.

The guns have the tactical rail clip that you can attach it to any guns with the rail biggrin.gif

Its RM44.90 for that...Got the single player shield tag for my 7 year old girl. Mainly aiming for the smaller strikefire (suitable for smaller kid) and most importantly the eyewear to protect kid's eye.

If u get the set, what u gonna do with the eyewear and shield.......can sell me lor. Extra eyewear is always good for my kid.

Buzz Bee double shot is in all TRU stores now (at least in both 1U and Tropicana), just masuk abt last Friday as I see them shelving them. Can NERF foam dart fit in coz I don't see any replacement dart for Buzz Bee.

I still prefer NERF as it looks more stylish while Buzz Bees looks very kiddish...tho love the double shot design. More importantly I don't prefer too strong shot coz I'm shooting my 7 years old girl.....thats why I'm using the least powerful streamline darts against her while I let her use either sonic or tag darts against me. She loves the strike fire most, easiest to pull the spring and handle fit right in her hand unlike the huge maverick.

Oh....among the sidearms, nite finder is really the most impressive in accuracy and strength.

I think Ghost-Squad is refering to MagStrike blaster looking very kiddy. Actually for me, most Nerf blaster looks kiddy except for N-Strike blasters and a few other exceptions.

You didn't happen to see the malay dude walking around with a Vulcan on his shoulder did you?

Oh...thats u. Saw u walking around. Pointing to u for my little girl....see see....that big fellow with the big gun on his shoulder, thats a Nerf machine gun. See see, slotted in beside his bag is a maverick just like ours. Ur everywhere...where we go, ur there.

Anyway, I'm just in ToyrUs Tropicana just now and left at 12pm. Almost missed the twin pack standard clips accs for my Recon. Its hanging under those scope accs. 3 packs left, wallop 2 twin packs straight....1 twin pack left there hanging above the 100 darts casing.

As for where is Tropicana Mall, if coming from KL to Damansara Highway, near Phileo Damansara, take the left toll (right toll going to TTDI). Keep left and turn into the left road immediately after that toll. Hit a traffic light in Section 17 junction (Section 17 on left with Shell station), just keep straight. Its on the left after section 17 and after Damansara INTAN building just before turning to LDP/SS2 highway.

Although I've not done any real testing, based on a few nerf brawl between my girl-girl, newphews and I with streamlines, tagger and sonic darts, the charts do make some sense. Couldn't vouch for it but could not discount it either.

Streamline is very accurate in shorter range but as it is very light, it tends to run off the line at longer range. Its also the most prone to damages and at slight bend at the darts foam, it flies somewhere else....but at close range, its my fav....light, fast reload (with extra clips) and most importantly, the least painful when strike....coz playing with kids mah...

Tagger darts is the most accurate but due to its pricing, the least used. Sonic darts forms the most of the darts here, hitting pretty hard and quite accurate but not accurate at further range where else the streamline can still reach the target at those range.

This is based on nerf brawl observation, not scientific, step by step testing.....just having fun 1st then evaluate later thus mostly layman comment without actual proven fact.

And...bros, I think a discussion is good but keep the tone down...everyone is into nerf for fun here (although I just play, not interested in modifying due to playing with kids mostly).

Have you get the extra clips.....if you have and still get bored with it....then sell.

If not, then try getting those clips, coz I got bored with recon as well initially and played with the other blasters instead. However once I got those clips (at least 2 more) with extra darts, its 180 degrees changes in fun factor, with the fast reload during nerf brawl.....its becoming the fav among all my girl-girl and nephews including me.

In other news, I just bought 10 secret strikes.

10....no need reload during nerf brawl. I laugh my pants out during a brawl when my kid used this and did not pump correctly, its range...less than 1 feet. She got 1 streamline hit to the forehead. Since then she forgo this in the game. With full pump, its a good "secret" backup tho.
