Hi everyone...

What is the cheapest channel to TT money to a China or HK bank account? Moneygram seems quite expensive also...How many days it takes for the payment to be cleared in the other party account?

Any advice or comments on this would be very much appreciated.

Thanks so much notworthy.gif

Hi, any amount also just RM10 per transaction?

What are the info of the payee needed? Only bank name, bank account no, account name and SWIFT code is it?

Thanks so much mate... notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

U mean from Maybank? Or...

Each time i transfer is not a really big amount, but i need to do it kinda frequent...so if it is expensive, it can really cut my throat sweat.gif

But what Fatz_cat suggested is kind of cheap actually, if it is just RM10, or u mean if i transfer more, can request for lower than RM10 transaction fee...wow...even better lo... drool.gif

dear all,
I have the same problem.
One more question I have is whether the account number is the number shown on China's bank ATM card or account book or others??

Added on September 10, 2008, 1:47 amHi, by the way, what are the informations needed for making online TT from our maybank2u.com to China banks?

I try to enquire from Maybank customer service, the answer they gave me is: Better do the TT at Maybank counter coz our staff can handle everything for you...genius answer doh.gif

Anyone can help please... sweat.gif

Thanks so much...

Sometimes when there is no direct link between our Malaysian banks to the targeted recipient bank, they need to use a third party bank.
And that 3rd party bank, as predicted, will charge a fee. The fee varies by geographic locations. Once I kena charge USD$20 by 3rd party bank fo just for transfering TT from Maybank to an obscur Vietnamese bank.

As to where to get this fee rate structure from, I'm not too sure. But I guess you would need to know who your 'middle man' bank is first.
