Someone just called me from citibank regarding some insurance stuff on your outstanding balance..what is it about eh?

Help!...i just received one call from a private number...i couldn't hear what she really said...but it's sort of if i buy some stuff i will be provided with some sort of insurance and i'll get some sort of discount up to 70%..i said NO and not interested..and she said that it's not about whether i agree or not..it's DONE and they are on the process of sending some sort of card to me..and again i said NO..her final word was..i can't undo it..and the service charge was like 200 something and she hung up..i was like WTF?..

Question guys: If i buy from Amazon.com using my MBB Visa..Visa will charge me 1% + 0.5% from MBB..is it? Where to check the Visa/Mastercard currency conversion charges? Thanks
