i don't think he has any mental block against murray..he was able to grab that 2nd set..it was just way too much unforced errors from fed himself...his backhand..though its a beauty..but when players attack his backhand..they normally succeed

he has only himself to blame..no adjustments made when his forehand was sucking..somethings wrong with him nowadays mentally wise..the only thing worth watching today for me was when federer broke his racquet into pieces..LOL

yup..Murray won 6-2 7-5
Right now tennis only seems to be about two people, and that's Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray..Federer's just fading away so silently and quickly.. Clay season is next!!! |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Apr 6 2009, 05:59 PM) Really? I still think highly of Roddick, Nalbandian and Safin(I know...). I do think highly of them too..but if u look at the first 4months of the season..all the big tournaments have been won by these 2 guys...Even Lyeton Hewitt is still one to watch for me. So it isn't really... all about just 2 people. Rafa - Australian Open and Indian wells Murray - Doha, Rotterdam, Miami, finals at indian wells So right now i juz think it's them both who are dominating the big tourneys..no offence to roddick and nalbandian..i just don't see them winning when the 2 guys are in the tourneys.. Djokovic chose a wrong time to change his racket i think?? Wonder whether will Fed take up the offer..he should!!! maybe next time when fed loses a point..we might see him saying..U'VE GOT TO BE SERIOUS!! |

this is typical astro bosses/workers mentality..football must always be priorities..and not other sports..that's why we must do our job by screwing them up verbally..

Federer lost to wawrinka 4-6 5-7...something's definitely wrong with him these days..and i doubt he'll be able to get back to his best when there's strong players around..he's mentality just changed..HE NEEDS OUTSIDE HELP!!!

if to choose between sampras and agassi..i'd give more edge to aggasi..with all respect to sampras..agassi clawed his way back into the top draws when he was 30+ i think?? the oldest man to reach no.1 .. so all the credits goes to agassi...
Well federer on the other hand..only time will tell..he's mentality has certainly changed..from winning almost everything to suddenly losing to lower ranked players..kinda hard to take..no? |

well...no doubt nadal will be owning the clay court season..don't see him losing anywhere soon as he's probably at his peak right now...but i still want to believe that federer will come back..haha..but anyway djokovic is closing in on the no.2 spot..great stuffs ahead

dun have to be worried about tat..nadal does it all the year and won the french open every year since 2005..haha..so no worries..
Though last yr he lost in the 2nd round of rome which gave him rest..Two years ago he won every tournament and reached the hamburg final where he lost to roger..but still went on the clinch the french open Nadal is clearly..of superhuman strength |

To me, playing on a clay court is the best..as players need to get comfortable with all the movement..and i love the sliding on court..haha
Andy Murray and defending champ novak djokovic are up today..Good starts for them perhaps? if djokovic doesn't defend his title and slips up early..Murray has a chance to grab the no.3 ranking.. Exciting tourney though i think we're able to figure out who will be the winner in the end This post has been edited by diegoadriadona: Apr 28 2009, 06:19 PM |
