I've been always a fan of W124 Mercedes Benz since I was just a kid. As mentioned by some here, W124 is an over-engineered for its kind during its launch back in 1986. My dad bought one of the early batch W124 230E with tank-quality manual transmission & it's still running perfectly smooth after 22 years.

It's one of my favorite ride even I do looked slightly older when driving it. Here are some tuned up W124 photos from some forums that I referred as amazing rides & planning to do something similar:

P/S: Keep the W124 running with its original German engines instead of those 1JZ, 2JZ or RB25DETT as it just spoils the original German marque.

Frankly to say Sensui, if your bank account doesn't have at least RM20k then don't bother to land yourself with a used W124 Mercedes. I dare to say that getting a continental rides are easy but when it comes to maintenance wise, most owners will 'ah chi ah cho" there & there, saying why so expensive compared to Japanese rides la, this la that la.

So get a good earning job after graduated, save the best u could & then only think of getting a continental ok. Exception will be granted if your MBF (Mother Father Finance) is fully loaded & sponsoring u for the car where $$$ is not an obstacle to them. brows.gif wink.gif
