QUOTE(quarantined @ Jan 18 2009, 09:47 AM) singapore. thanks to enteryourusername who pointed it out to me. QUOTE ppl use steel wool more for polishing the frets, u may scratch the fretboard no matter how fine it is. plus after that the steel wool particles will get attracted to the pickup magnets. i think dan erlewine uses copper wool for that reason. tape your fretboard before doing anything to your frets to avoid scratches. make sure the tape is thick enough. |

ive never brought amps on flight with me. but guitars in gig bags are a norm. yes they can fit into the overhead cargo, if not, just pass to the air stewardess and they'll put it in an area at the front of the plane

anyone knows who can do inlays?
i'm planning to do the Paul Reed Smith inlays in a nice piece of veneer (preferably dark wood grains) and my name on the truss rod cover (yes i am vain). cut the shape of the veneer out to the shape of my headstock and attach it there. |

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Jan 30 2009, 04:36 PM) Oh my............ first thing was...I always thought the Iceman was sexy...... but now I want Paul Gilbert's Fireman MAWR!!! ![]() 3 single coils? QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Jan 30 2009, 05:17 PM) battery was never really cost effective. cheap way would be to buy a "regulated" multi adaptor and connect with a daisy cable. make sure the adaptor has enough amperage to cover all your pedal. if not, use multiple adaptor. a more expensive method is to buy a daisy adaptor, a behringer one is about rm 120-150(complete set) last i checked. can connect up to 5 effect. how about one spot adapter? |
