Haha, ok. But you could consider the SV also, great guitar. Although its going to cost quite a bit more than the Jackson.

For the RR-TN02 its 4.8k plus shipment minus hardcase. Email guitar japan, they'll give you a quote.

If you already have a MicroCube, just save up for a good amp (preferably tube). The Microcube is already good enough for the time being unless you're planning on serious gigging or something.

Btw, i posted a short vid on Youtube. Tell me what you think and comments on what i can improve. Thanks. biggrin.gif

actually ..i forgotten ..was it 25% tax + 10% sales tax

or

15% tax + 10% sales tax...

i know pianos are 35%
*
Speaking of pianos, i saw a Steinway at Bents Mutiara which had a price tag of get this...RM665,000.00!! I almost flipped when i saw the price tag. Only played it for 5 minutes because i was scared anything would happen. And i thought MIA guitars were expensive. blink.gif

whats a good metal song to play live cos i got a gig coming ?pls help me.

ps:no double bass
*
Best play something uptempo/headbang-able

Children of Bodom - Are You Dead Yet?, Sixpounder, Bodom Beach Terror
Trivium - Like Light to Flies, Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr
A7X - Unholy Confessions
Metallica - MOP, anything else you want
Megadeth - Tornado of Souls, Holy Wars, Hangar 18

There are some double bass stuff in there, but you could change a few parts biggrin.gif

fuuuhhhhh.... sweep tap mouu, and the DEMMELITION!  rclxms.gif

Haha, very dissapointed with that video. I don't know why i keep screwing up and playing unclean whenever anyone starts recording. sad.gif

But the Demmel is sweet man! Smooth fretboard, nice balance, good one. The only complaint i have is the upper fret access is not as good compared to my RG.

I'm budgeting RM5k for my next axe. Either an RR24 or RR-TN02, i'll flip a coin when i have the cash. A huge jump from my first RG which cost RM1.5k. Its all about how much you're willing to spend on quality. Remember, with a higher price comes higher quality.

Darn, i'm in deep trouble right now. My high e and b string's locking nut's screw thingy got worn out, so i cant use the allen key to remove it. Have to try using a spanar or something to remove it by force. Any idea where i can get replacement locking nuts? Bents doesn't carry them. sad.gif

Woh Fatt and Chambers (Sg. Wang) have them. Not sure if it fits though.

Thanks man, but are they Ibanez parts? Haish, now i can see the horrible quality metal they use for non Prestige Ibanezes. Just hope the Edge III doesn't break in 2 anytime soon. sad.gif

Guess i'll just block the trem then, no point buying a new set. Spend now and then i'll have to wait even longer for my RR24. Thanks for the help anyway. biggrin.gif

yea im having the same problem but its on the master of puppets riff.i think hetfield does only donwstrokes but it gets really tiring .how do i do it? sad.gif

Well, the best way to gain stamina is by practising. Learn a few fun heavy downpicking songs:

1) Trivium - Like Light to Flies
2) Avenged Sevenfold - Unholy Confessions
3) Bullet for My Valentine - Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow/ Waking the Demon

Beside Master of Puppets, those first 3 songs were the ones that helped with my downpicking. And make note that you should really dig into the strings to get the real 'ooomph' sound of downpicking. Then try singing while playing, that would be even cooler. biggrin.gif

Really? Wow, i learned MOP rhythm way earlier than those 3, maybe around after 5 months of playing. And for me MOP was one of the easier ones. Woah, maybe i was born to be a downpicking rhythm player instead of a lead player! shocking.gif
