I've tried the Paul Allender SE at Bentley, nothing to shout about. Not really my taste.

QUOTE(fatboythin @ Jan 9 2009, 02:58 PM) prs guitars has this block of heel on the neck, which is at 1st quite irritating lah to me. but it's the matter of getting used to lah.seen from forums that pre-cnc prs doesn't have that. QUOTE(blacktrix @ Jan 9 2009, 03:00 PM) so, fender trems are not for u eh? hehe. |

it isnt too bad once you get used to it. then again, ive been shredding above the 15 fret on my les paul for many years already. can always swap pickups on it.
theres nothing wrong with that guitar for me, except for the price. RM3.2k?!!! itll take quite a while to save up to that amount and then splash it all at one shot |

yeah i know the neck is nice. its just the block of heel, something 'new' to me.
ebp: the paul allender is 3.2k? then what makes u still aim for that instead of a normal se custom, for cheaper? |

NAMM is gonna preview the new SG standard, the way its meant to be made, with smaller pickguard
and the '61 reissue is apparently to be discontinued. gibson dumbass marketing wants to force ppl to buy the historic series if they really want that guitar... but the '61 reissue is gibson's best selling model, and is better made than the historic. |

I used to really like the Paul Allender sig. The color and the bats are just way too cool for an SE model
Anyway I just watched a video for a Hagstorm Viking. Is there any place that stores them, here or Singapore? Too bad after seeing it my GAS goes up again!! |
