hmm, is it just me who is really looking forward to listen to their album this coming 12th september?

We probably will never see metallica producing their OLD stuffs anymore.. but anything close to the Black Album is good enough for me.

ok guys i need some help here

gonna go for my university hostel's band audition in two weeks time.

what kinda songs should I play to convince them to take me in?
should i choose something which displays different kind of skills like including tapping and such,

or play the songs that I'm comfortable with (classic rock and metal)

or learn some mainstream songs? since the band plays mostly for residence activities, i think the songs that they perform are mostly mainstream too.

cause I just thought that most people who will go for the audition will play mainstream stuffs, so to distinct myself I might as well play something else.

I thought of playing metallica-orion or some incubus stuff:P
and i think this way I can show that technic-wise I can play things other than normal chords and power chords
