Ya, same thing I cancelled from Omisa too. Felt sorry for him. His hedgie all release already? Never heard from him for a long time. Cancelled cause his one wean quite late, I must get from him then straight board bus back to UTM and so happened that found cinnamon at same price. Haha.

Walao...my hedgie will go crazy when he sees mealworm.. from a shy shy hedgie become agreesive 1... after finish mealworm will run around so fast then if i put my hand inside he will try to eat my hand. o.O but since after i feed him the mealworm once... he is always agressive d.... is it normal or something wrong?

Mites ar... This I never encountered before le. You need to wait for more professional advice in this matter. But this usually occurs when the habitat is dirty. So shouldn't be a problem if the habitat is kept clean.

My guess is:-
1st clean the habitat, change bedding, disinfect objects in habitat
2nd give the hedgie a thorough bath
3rd if both above doesn't helps, seek medication help

I mean how you manage your pets? Like you got so many gerbils? Keeping them male-male, female-female? That's 2 tanks, hedgehog = +1 tank. Fat-tailed gerbil = + 1 tank. And SG.. 1 giant cage?

I'm thinking of getting a hedgehog for my wife and myself. but dunno anything about it. Can some sifus here teach me a thing or 2 about them. Like how to care for them, where to put them, what they makan and so on.... sorry for being troublesome.... Thanks

Most important is why you want it? There are many pets out there, is important to find one that really suit you and your wife's lifestyle.
Hedgehogs are easy to care for in terms of diet (readily available), habitat (no special equipments like heater, lightning, etc), easy to maintain, if you follow some basic guidelines posted in page 1.

You can feed them quality cat food or dog food. Insects (mealworms / crickets) occasionally
They are nocturnal, so is not a good idea to place them under direct sunlight. Provide them something to hide and sleep in.
Care for them... This depends on how commited are you lo. Some petshops just put them aside, feed them and clean their habitat only until the smell is overwhelming also consider as basic care... But if this is what you plan to do then better don't lo. Cause later they get sick, infested with mites, then you and hedgehog also susah.

You should read basic care sheet at sheet 1. Anything more specific you are not sure of, don't hesitate to post here. = ) good luck
