ya...i think so too....to slow down the fall

adam....since u have financial knowledge background.......may i know why is during economy slowdown or recession.....the inflation still rising?

inflation is rise of price for things rite? if economy is in a bad shape...why would ppl increase the price rather than lower it....to make the their own business more worst?

Added on September 3, 2008, 12:54 pmabove is reply to adam....

commodities up (crude oil, cotton, palm oil bla bla bla) = inflations up, so get it ?

ya i know..............i mean when economy is bad........mean sales is bad.....if sales is bad why do people still rise the price instead of lowering it or stay? doesnt that make ur business more worst?

like supply n demand....economy bad = no demand = price drop vice versa..........how come still can hear inflation up.....blur

Added on September 3, 2008, 1:56 pmeconomy good  =demand for commodities =commodities up = inflation up

economy bad = less demand for commodities = commodities up too?
*
us dollar , commodities, inflations.. all these 3 have connections...

economy bad= no investment opportunities, money must go to somewhere else. so where?? FD?? treasury bond?? commodities??

edited: forget to include, interest rate

@lowyat
Juz take your time. I also recovering losses, I still remember back to the time whereby you aiming for small pips in every of your trades. BY that way, you able to recover your account into your original point and make profit.

I doing the same currently, after taking in a huge losses, now aiming for small pips every day and try to recover my acc slowly. ACcording to the speed currently, I guess I might need around 2 month ++ two recover fully my account. But slow, at least safe... When I always think wanna recover my account faz, then I will end up with more losses trade, bcoz I didn't close most of the trade that in +ve pips coz I wish for more.

Wish could help you relax a bit...

Added on September 6, 2008, 10:55 pmNext week will be handling some project, guess wont be here for trading. So this week wont be posting up any chart for weekly analysis... Wish you guys a lot of pips.

is there a foreign currency account? i didn't know that.. how do i set up one? and which banks offer such accounts? because when funding my account.. oanda requires the funds to be transferred in the same currency as the live account.. so if i'm using USD for my fxtrade.. i have to send USD.. i can't send MYR T_T ...
*
d bank will do d convertion for u for a lil fees... for FCA, u can call them n ask how's is it to open as each banks varies.

hm...a little side note..on the left of the attachment is the EU, while on the right is UJ relative to EJ, with Yen being as the base (lazy to explain biggrin.gif). Seems like the Euro is falling at a much faster rate than UDS, but i would expect the gap to closer once EU hits around 1.3800.

Most US reports wouldnt make much difference now, other than those sudden spikes. Previously investors are worrying about Freddie and Fannie. Now that the gov has taken over them, it's actually much of a relief to the credit market. What's US$120+bil compared to the US$500bil being suffering in the credit market? Perhaps there would be a slight retracement today and/or tomorrow. Lets see if investors would regain its confidence in Wall Street and EU will drop to 1.3800

edit: typo

added:
The early session of the US market has seen the sell-off of the treasuries and bonds, while Europeans are buying US stocks. Expect much more movement after the last european market to close.

good commentin ^.^

mayb u shud start write these kind of things... huhu
