The longer time frame is more accurate. For major trend analysis, use 4 hr chart. For swing trading, use 1 hr chart to eliminate the noise.

It's currently trading above the trendline so i won't say it will go further south. There's a bullish divergence if the next two candles appears to be green.

Yes, but if you notice Stochastic, it is showing a hidden bullish divergence; since its a higher low and the oscillator indicators are showing lower low.

DO not worry on winning money first. Very important concept is capital preservation. Don't lose first. Once experience builds up; winning is not a problem.

Even some of the best swing/day traders have bad days.

CI will go down due to immediate uncertainty. Political parties within BN especially from Sabah and Sarawak might crossover. So these uncertainties will drag CI down; unfortunately.

Added on August 22, 2008, 7:02 pmDr2, check your chart, hammer candle at the bottom (main chart, 1hr), and hidden bullish divergence on stoch. You might want to take this opportunity

True, but usually, the second hour candle is important after the hammer. We will observe. I have my position open but i regretted buying it so soon.

I misinterpreted the trendline, and paid the price of 400 pips. Oh well.

Ben's speech is encouraging for the dollar and although inflation outlook is uncertain, the FEDs will do anything to maintain price stability.

Open position: 1.4823
Unrealized profit: 100 pips ( 5 lots)

Hoping it will break down 1.48
