Ah V3, congrats !! Will be posting our (me & my gf) new baby pic soon, don't wanna disturb it too much yet
It means Little Ball in Japanese heh. And yeah its the brown + white color one. Was it from sharil? or other breeder? Our boru seems very intelligent, knows how to poo in the toilet box d, peeing not sure yet cause haven't see. Currently seems to like apple cubes more than baby tomato, will try cucumber & parsley soon, we plan to just give him a small cubes of them only in order to avoid diarrhea. Boru also seems to enjoy himself sleeping in the foodtray =_=" Just wondering, are Uncle Taro Nutri-Smoothie suitable for gp? Planning to buy for our baby. It's made for hamsters, not really suitable for GP. It means Little Ball in Japanese heh. And yeah its the brown + white color one. Was it from sharil? or other breeder? Little ball is not called Chibi Tama in japanese meh? Ritoru Boru is how japanese say little ball in english wor. Anyway, my GPs don't like tomatoes of any kind. And cucumber don feed too much yah. Might cause diarrhea. Parsley they will like. |

Well we literally use the English translation cause Ritoru Boru sounds better than Chibi Tama to us Little ball is not called Chibi Tama in japanese meh? Ritoru Boru is how japanese say little ball in english wor. Anyway, my GPs don't like tomatoes of any kind. And cucumber don feed too much yah. Might cause diarrhea. Parsley they will like. Edited: woah this thread response damn fast... cant keep up lol @jtl ur joan right? allright hope to see a good formula smoothies for gp soon. @sharil_routh: the notty boy is from u ke? allright less cucumbers. QUOTE(jtl @ Jul 7 2008, 12:55 AM) Nope, not suitable for GP but Uncle Taro is still undergoing some testing stages for smoothies for GPs. Have already tested on a few GPs and they seem to love it! really joan .. great!!!Added on July 7, 2008, 12:58 am QUOTE(Jamien @ Jul 7 2008, 12:57 AM) Added on July 7, 2008, 1:00 am QUOTE(Vor @ Jul 7 2008, 12:57 AM) Well we literally use the English translation cause Ritoru Boru sounds better than Chibi Tama to us Dis is what i explain for first timer.. Let them stay a few days in cage then... Just sat with them on a towel stroking them gently and talking to them about random stuff. I recommend a towel because it is likely at first they may pee on you, also give them the option to hide in the towel as this will make them feel a bit more secure. Offering them food will help as this will soon build their confidence up with you and realise you are a source of food which will gain the trust from the Guinea Pig quickly. In my experience it takes around 6 months for a Guinea Pig to be at the point of trust with you where they will come over to you when on the floor, or feel free to fall asleep on you when you cuddle them. Then you can scoop it up wif 2 hands, 1 covering the rump. Handle for short periods then put back. It'll get used to you slowly.Don't put too much pellets on his tray. @Sharil: Means he is one of your babies lar! Aiyar, ssemacam la you. I wanna see!
