heard it was like 2 weeks after those current intake are settled down to know the empty slots...

yup..about 2 weeks after th 1st intake..they wan see if got students who do not come for the 1st intake..if u r lucky (not many people attend the 1st intake for your course),u shud get a place..juz pray for it!!..

is this for the SPM 2007 students or STPM　２００７　ｓｔｕｄｅｎｔｓ？

it's usually 2 to 4 weeks after the semester starts, not including orientations. orientation is usually 1 week before the semester starts, so discount that.

if i'm not mistaken, uitm's appeal result is on 14 july. Maybe applies to other IPTA as well..

My friend in UPM said that the 2nd intake will be on next Monday. But all the people that I know who appealed didn't get any reply at all yet.

in that case, u're very wrong. UPU is not local university.

UPU stands for Unit Pusat University, which is the equivalent to the british UCAS. it is a centralized department that manages the undergraduate intake of local public universities and colleges. so if anyone ever thought of studying in an IPTA for their undergraduate, they'd have to apply through UPU instead of going to the individual universities. UPU only manages the intakes, but nothing beyond that.

so fast huh... well, the faster the better... how about other UNI like UM and UMS?... got any news... anyone?

The appeal results will be out around the 14th. it is said that you can check in the mohe website after 14th or call your respective uni.

I'm waiting for it. I wish I can get it.

The result will be out on Monday 14/07. You guys can check on the webbie or call the hotline to check on your status

And for those who did not receive letter by end of this month, your application can be "deemed" as rejected/unsuccessful.

For UiTM i think result will be out on 16th according to their website. And if i'm not mistaken, 2nd intake will start their class on next monday(21/7).

But i have question, will they send the letter to house since nowadays its all online application...

Irzani, the database from your link don't seem to be updated. When I put in my details, they said I tidak berjaya for rayuan sesi 2006/2007...

I didn't know whether the database is update or not, but my last check by today, my brother got the appeal intake result. Anyway, you can try by SMS, it works ..

i get ukm physiotherapy. Feel blur and not sure how to fill the form thing. Because the website said the offer letter will only be given to the students on this wednesday 16th june--the registeration day.

i think u've mistaken about this. They said if you didnt get any offer before 31st july, that means you fail all ALL.

Btw, i also feel a bit rush. Although i've prepared most of my things. The only thing i am rushing is the form-filling thing. Because the website is not up to date. So i'm not sure whether i should print out the reply letter and send it to the uni asap or not because my friends that managed to get into uni without appealing did that. But my case different. Any senior out there that also face such ''confusion'' last time??

You are lucky enough to have 2-3 days, last year when UTEM suddenly call me and my friends on the night, they asked me to register by the next day with the Rm 2K plus, 24 hour notice .. crazy ..

Wow, my brother friend from Polytechnic, CGPA 3.8 failed in appeal. Unlucky him ..

my school so far only 3 ppl from science stream get a place(including me). art stream all fail. I dont know why....

i think this info is kinda misleading as the second intake is the intake after the appeal. if you still cant get anything, u either wait for next year or go to ipta.

i also not sure. but i read about this thing also in the ''fsi book''. A chinese book all about scholarship, courses, uni, etc. All about education. Maybe i'm wrong.

i believe the 31st july date is for ALL intakes. in my experience, there is no more intakes after 5 weeks of the semester starts. so if u dont get anything after that, u just wont.

2nd intake is not one shot like the 1st intake. 2nd intake will be open as long as possible (in this case until 31 july), so they could fill in the empty spaces left by the 1st intake. they will try and fill in the spaces as much as they could until 31 july. after that, they'll make do with whatever they have. there will be no more intakes after that.

I appealed for Vet and Animal Science in UPM. Choice No.1 is out already, choice No.2 which is supposedly not so popular also was thrown out the window... sigh.

i think the best solution for other states is, u fax the appeal letter to the respective dean/officer in-charge and 1 hour later, call them. Without black and white, they can do nothing..

1 last question any important document i need brin beside appeal letter and my cert

bring your erayuan and your first application form to prove that you had applied it before

appeal letter, ic, surat beranak, result slip(stpm/dip/matrix) and other common documents...

check the its official website and find the respective dean info. you should be able to find his contact no.
