i start using it day 1 oredy.. kinda lag.. and quite a vista copy cat.. haha.. got side bar lagi.. i like the drag and throw feature.. like when u do background music, and u wanna end it, u can just tap on it and throw it in the side bar.. haha..

This is the main screen with the Vista look-a-like sidebar.. very cool feature.. After hearing to your favourite songs, just tap and throw it into the sidebar and continue listening again later.

The sidebar also includes the weather forecast, clock and everything u wan to add in, u can personalize it. U also can drag and place the operator name and digital display clock anywhere u want around the screen to prevent it blocking some pics from the wallpaper.

The three tabs below the Dial tab, Phonebook tab and Widget tab. Interesting huh.~


This is the menu. super clear and detailed texture icons. Very eye satisfying, the colours are just nice and suit both boys and gals taste. The good thing bout this menu is that, u can access into a lot of application without entering into another icon. For example, i wan to listen to music, u just have to tap music, what i meant is once touch to useful application. to set ur alarm, just tap alarm when entering the menu. No need to go tru all the hustle like other phone like menu -> tools -> alarm.


The Music Player. Ipod wannabe.. haha.. really, it has the similar touch to scroll function but less sensitive. It a great improvement done by Samsung. No comments on it. Its just very normal.


This is the back of the phone with the synthetic leather case.. Simple and yet cool. I dun think nee post the front pic la since every1 know its a mirror like finish and simple end call and answer button in front.


Good for all age. Even my dad loves it. Huge number display. easy to tap and press without worrying of pressing other numbers on the keypad. and if u do notice, you can also set the phone into silent mode by pressing the # button.


Huge phonebook name display as well. easy to read and easier to read for older people such as my dad. haha..

the front cam cannot use to take video 1 lo.. pictures i not sure can take or not.. i packed the phone ready to send to buyer liau.. i buy for testing purposes only.. haha.. see whats so cool bout this phone..

who use the front camera to take pics le.. i dun la.. for 3g video call is very clear i know la.. and i think this phone wins over KS20 lo.. im using KS20 with me also ma..

@gulhalim.. Music wise i think par with 5300.. the music playback tru the headset not bad.. nice sound produced, but will be better with other branded headset like AKG, Koss or sennheiser lor..

for calling purposes.. i tried talking in a crowded place b4 in shopping complexes and it does affect the 1 listening.. the 1 listening will have difficulties listening to u talking if the environment is very noisy. i think is the microphone location problem.. as u all know this phone size is small and the microfon is placed at the bottom of the phone.. all the surrounding sound will be mixed together with ur voice easily.. i think tats why they include the leather pouch. when u flip open the pouch front cover seems to cover ur mouth and the listener can listen much more clearly lor..

with F480 u dun have to worry no mirror.. the whole stainlessteel back finish can be ur mirror easily.. haha.. overall no regrets 1 buying this phone..

@gulhalim.. i put some .mp4 files in it and the video playback is superb. i tried it in a shopping complex and seems fine le.. altho i need to repeat some sentences but still ok with the listener lo..

i;ve already sold my phone yesterday.. send out to the lucky buyer oredy.. haha.. the loudspeaker very blur lor.. not encourage to use the loudspeaker unless the speaker on the other side is in a very quiet environment place..

u can go try it at any shops selling this model.. for me just OK OK nia la.. not very good and a bit pricy la. rm1999.. but for Samsung, its a big improvement lo..

i not sure also.. hmm.. never use those function also.. any1 here using this phone.. sold mine like a month ago..~ nor rm1899 for FMG set liau..~ aih..`
