Good Morning All,
Say you only have 1 credit card and wanted to go on a holiday
the air ticket for 3 cost roughly RM6k, but your credit limit is only RM4k
surely that transaction cannot proceed, right?
how can you make that transaction without going to the bank and requesting them to permanently increase your credit limit?
i got to know that increasing one's credit limit will take 3-4 business days and you'll need to submit your payslip in order to get approval
Normally the bank would give an extension of credit limit like at 4k to 6k for the month. Say you only have 1 credit card and wanted to go on a holiday

You would have to call the credit card customer service to tell them in advance you would like to do the transaction and also request for credit limit extension.
The safest way to ensure you could use the credit card to swipe for the 6000MYR transaction is definitely to deposit extra cash for the bank
