hmm i feel like my joystick starting to give me problem d. press down sometimes activate menu.

how long have you been using it? mine 6 months already but still ok ah. no problem.

the only way is trying to avoid from pressing or using joystick instead of pressing softkeys and numeric keys

pull out a lil bit ur joystick and turn it clockwise n anticlockwise..

sometimes.. continuously pressing down will cause lagness to the joystick, sometimes i perform an "exercise" up down left right then ok ady..

it works with my k800..

or open the housing if u dare..like me,then clean around the joystick.and it will work like new

good idea. but im finding those steps and guides from internet sources showing those precautions. anyone willing to contribute? self capture the steps.

^ try PM forumer chicaman. he used to do that with his K800i.
the tool he used was a pair of scissors/blade.

btw, had been using k810i for almost a year and so far no problem with the joystick.
if possible, try to minimize the joystick usage by using numeric menu access instead.

the dictionary abit weird to use le. scroll down halfway duno y can jump back to the top. then no scroll bar to see how long to read.

wow.. it's "extreme" to open it up.. but i wonder does k810's joystick same wif k800? k800's looks easier to open than our k810.. dare not to try yet.. >.<

then spend some money and send to the service centre, let them do the job, hassale-free

one thing concerns me... is dere any accessories that can reduce my keypad's fingerprints? im not asking for fabric cloth, but something else dat can prevent the fingerprints.
