can use Google Maps iiam, it connects via GPRS, then locate where you are, that's all.

*freaking expensive data usage, like chicaman said, might burn your wallet a big hole (unconcsiously) if you are not on unlimited data plan.

Hey ya'll....

wanna join the K810i Gang coz i've just owned one three days ago thumbup.gif  rclxm9.gif  icon_idea.gif .....all in all I love it wub.gif ....

but then i'm kinda noob in SE phones...so can give some advice i'm about to ask??thx

I wanted to download the 3G settings for my phone but then it seems like the data account is full and need to erase....wanna is that..does the phone comes with preloaded accounts??? if so is it safe to delete them to make way for my Hotlink 3G settings??...please advice....

here are the list of the accounts:

1.TSEL WAP GPRS
2.Tsel MMS
3.XL WAP
4.XL MMS
5.IM3 WAP GPRS
6.IM3 MMS GPRS
7.SATGPRS
8.SATMMS
9.3gprs
10.3mms

all infos will be a big help thx in advance.... wink.gif ...oh yeah....price of K810i is indeed going up as stocks are finishing...plus i heard that SE will put a stop in production for this phone as its already been a year+ since its launch....I hold no guarantee on my words..so its better to hear it from h/p sellers/suppliers/shops.
*
yes you may, delete all those accounts, you don't need them.

and activate your hotlink 3G setting after that.

To all K810i sifus,

My phone able to read 260 Sim contacts memory (Max)
If I use other phone I'm able to see 260 in use and 240 free.
I'm using Maxis 3G card and it suppose to have 500 (Max) storage.
Does anyone of you encounter this problem?

I try to google but couldn't find anything related to this.
*
same here, mine (maxis 3G ~ blue-white sim card) max SIM storage is 260 only.

Whoa dat's a quick reply ! biggrin.gif So even though I haven't got 3G service installed on my phone, the phone can tell that I'm on 3G coverage area? Then if I'm not, will it dim or will the icon dissappear?
*
yes, icon will disappear when you're not on 3G network.

My gf just bought a brand new ori set just now. She said at the back of the battery got the thorus sticker, but then she was wondering whether the sticker is ral or not. Because the tokei said no need to send the warranty card, if got problem just send it back to him. Erm could it be that the hp is not really ori as the tokei said? any other ways to check that the hp is original?
*
lol battery got thorus sticker doesnt mean the set is ori.

first, you gonna make sure you have the SE Warranty Card.

secondly, does the phone (not the battery) have the thorus sticker, like this,

user posted image

if yes, your set is consider ori.

Yup, exactly my point! She said got sticker sure ori. LOL i said how can like dat. It's not raelly that hard to make imitation stickers right? People can make fake money summore, surely a stupid sticker can be made much easily.

Erm do you happen to have the original warranty card as well?
Can show for me & other users to see?

Basically, if it's AP set, the warranty card only got chop from the shop, but original warranty will have address to its headquarters, am i right?
*
how about you show us the warranty card that your gf has?

we may tell you something by looking at the card.

if that's what the tokei said, i'd say, your set is 99% AP.
still, show us your warranty card to double confirm. smile.gif
