Well look at it this way, what was once far fetch ideas in movies are somewhat reality today though not entirely. Well of course red matter does not exist but who knows in the next 50 years? Anything is possible. such matters cannot and does not exist.
Anyway this movie rocks man. Super cool for mild trekkie fans like me.
