On the beginning scenes, i felt that if i watching lost esp seeing how james t kirk was born and his dad sacrificed himself. Perhaps some JJ Abrams signature?

Watched today and it is a perfect pilot episode in which by the end of the movie, you cant wait for next week to watch the next episode!

Too bad the next sequel will come by 2011 instead of next week.
