Just watched it again with a mate today who hates Star Trek with a passion. Needless to say, he was overly impressed with the show haha. This is 2nd time i watched in the cinema, the first was with the missus and we were both surprised to have found it very entertaining.

Not a big fan of Trek tho i tend to watch it moderately back when i was in Australia - there was just nothing else to watch at late night! But i am a fan of Firefly, so i've been waiting to watch a sci fi having the same kind of look and feel of the Firefly movie.

This particular film just gets it right imo. The images were vivid and iconic, love the blooming lights, and the film runs at good pace. The castings are brilliant, the actors are lively and entertaining. Think getting that dude Sylar from heroes is an act of genius.

Cant wait for the bluray!!
