Excitement, entertaining and action all the way. I didn't feel that I was
watching a two hours movie.
Overall an excellent movie ... don't miss it.

QUOTE(Sichiri @ May 11 2009, 03:16 PM) The tv series timeline is:1) Star Trek: Enterprise - Captain Jonathan Archer 2) Star Trek - Captain James Tiberius Kirk 3) Star Trek: The Next Generation - Captain Jean-Luc Picard 4) Star Trek: Voyager - Captain Kathryn Janeway The Star Trek movie - Generations is where Captain Kirk and Captain Picard met. I guess it is like a hand-over or passing the baton between Captain Kirk and Captain Picard where Star Trek movies end and Star Trek:TNG begins ... Added on May 11, 2009, 8:16 pm@Haze. I agreed with you 101%. This movie is for Star Trek fans and newbies. As what the movie poster says "Star Trek - The Future Begins" ... Question.
Why there are no seat belt on the chairs in the bridge? Captain Kirk and the rest of the crew has to hold tightly to the seat when they are being bombarded or they should be jump over the place to give a dramatic look? |

Even in Star Trek: TNG and Voyager, there is no seat belt on the captain's chair or all the chairs on the bridge ...

In a 2hours plus movie, there are just too many things to describe the star trek universe. Overall, it is excellent movie. For existing star trek fans, it is something different. For new star trek fan, it is fast-paced and full of actions scene.
The casting of the actors for the characters is excellent. Sadly, there was a brief introduction of the main characters in the movies. Hopefully, in the next sequel of the movie, we will be able to learn more about them. |
