QUOTE(ifourtos @ May 20 2013, 02:17 AM) The latest Star Trek Movie - Into The Darkness... 5/10, The Goods: + Great CG + Passable Sound Effect The Bads: - Cartoon Level Story - Too Childish plot - Tons of loophole » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Not really loopholes but common sense things like, the fight between spock and khan. Khan owned a squad of klingon warriors without much problem but had difficulty fighting against spock?
Why do they need khans blood specifically to cure kirk since they have 72 popsicles who are the basically the same as khan to draw blood from.

QUOTE(Mov_freak @ May 20 2013, 11:13 AM) In a way, that is sad isn't it... I remember that when Star Trek The Next Generation was release, it took sometime for it to come to our shore (how we survived without the internet in the late 80s and 90s I don't know). The local TV station were reluctant to show Star Trek TNG because, and I quote "It is TOO cerebral".... Apparently our education system was already THAT bad back then... We had the tv and vhs before the internet, remember? Its not education which was the problem, its the ppl mentality and their environment. Why bother watching scifi show when you have shows that dont require much if any thinking like scenario and raja lawak, or if you like your movies like rempit etc. Plus riding on your motorcycle with your mates and making havoc and a fool of yourself is more "in" then watching scifi shows.
