Sure they need more than cats, but they to return to you much more than cats

That depends on breed
Certain breed like chow chow are very much independant
My friends husky is quite independant n have his own mind
Where as my retriever is pretty much submissive as compare to her husky

mixbred hard to predict
my retriever for instance love to fetch stuff, and he will bring stuff in his mouth and ask me to throw while he go fetch it
rinse and repeat he is pretty demanding
