I don't know whether you are familiar with stock market or not first. But it is important to know all of them and full aware the risj first before start investing. i was thinking to buy 20 lots at a time, i am for long term investment.

or other suggestions

On currently market condition, don't need to rush to buy, market won't shoot up far overnight as current market is on the way down, not in bull run stage.
Different individual has different risk appetide, so can't say which one is good choice or bad. It depends on individual liking as well as willing to take those risk. It is better you start up your initial targetted stocks then other can comment on it and discussion grows from there.
Cheers.

1 lot is 1000 units? no
hear good things about resorts and genting, development in singapore and uk, sell assets ....
maybank is heading south recently, so i
maybe is good time to accumulate some?
i can wait maybe 20 years if the "mild seven" don't kill me first
'Heard' is not good enough to justify the decision on your hard earned money in stake. (no offence) hear good things about resorts and genting, development in singapore and uk, sell assets ....

Should at least knowing with facts and news of it.
Sell assets doesn't always mean good for the company one. It depends.
